Foto Arsenal Wien creates a new space for photography in Austria. The design approach wasn't driven by the image itself, but by what it evokes: attention, disruption, memory. The design concept—typographically precise yet spatially open—acts as a framework rather than making its own statement. It creates visibility without being intrusive. Whether in print or digital media, on billboards or within the space itself, the design concept stays in the background—allowing the photography to speak for itself. The 7,000 visitors at opening don't so much reflect the success of our design, but rather the importance of what this place represents.
